What is fasting?

1. John's diciples and Pharisees were in the midle of fasting.

But Jseue' diciples were not fasting?

2. People came and gave Jesus a question.

"why are your diciples not engaged in fasting?"

3. Jesus said to them " When the bridegroom is with the wedding guests, they do not have to fast"

But when the  bridegroom is taken away from them, they will fast on that day.

4. No one sews a piece of a new unshrunkcloth on an old garment.

If he does so, when the new piece is shruken, the old outtfit will be torn.

5. No one will put  new wine into old wineskins.

If he does so, the wine will burst the wineskins as the wine ages.

6. As wine ages, the gas pressure goes up in the wine container.
