1. Jesus wsa on his missionary trip, As he passed by the sea, He saw Levi sitting at the tax booth.
Jesus told Levi to follow Him. Levi immediately folowed Jesus, leavinf his tax booth behind.
2. When Jesus reclined at table in his house, many tax collectors and sinners were reclining with him.
The scribes and the Pharisees saw this scene and they said to Jesus' disciples " Why does Jesus eat with sinners?
This is becsuse eating with someone means taking the person as his family member.
3. Jesus heard it and said to them.
4. The healthy do not need a pphysician but the sick need a doctor.
5. I came not to call self -professed righteous but to call the sinners.
