Jesus as the Master of the Sabbath

1. One Sabbath day, Jesus was walking through the weathfiekds, and as theqy made their way,

His diciples began to pick the heads of wheat and eat them.

2. The Pharisees watching it said to Jesus "Why do your diciples do what is not lawful on the Sabbath?"

3. Jesus gave them an answer. Have you not read what David did.

He entered God's temple with his soldiers When he was hungry.

4. He ate the bread that the priests were supposed to eat and gave it to those who with him.

5. The Sabbath is for the man. Not the man exists for the Sabbath.

6. T he son of man is master of the Sabbath.
